Who we are

Chuck the Announcer is a comedy brand operated by DUMAC Publishing LLC. This policy covers chucktheannouncer.com, custom video intro orders and Talk to Chuck calls.

What we collect

  • Your name and email address, entered on the order form or at checkout, for your receipt and delivery.
  • Your mobile number (optional), only if you choose text delivery and check the consent box.
  • Order details: the intro you picked, the occasion, and the names and details you type in for Chuck to read.

We don’t use advertising trackers on this site.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe on Stripe’s hosted checkout. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe’s use of payment data is covered by Stripe’s own privacy policy.

How we use it

  • To make your video and deliver its download link by email or, if you opted in, one text message.
  • To answer questions, handle refunds and keep records required for taxes and accounting.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers we need to run orders: payment processing (Stripe), web hosting, email and SMS delivery, and the AI voice and video tools that produce Chuck’s videos and calls. They may use your information only to provide those services to us. We never sell your information, and we never sell or share phone numbers or SMS consent with anyone for marketing.

Text messages

If you opt in, we send one transactional text per order with your video link. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Full details are in our SMS Terms.

How long we keep it

We keep order details only as long as we need them to deliver your video, handle support and refunds, and meet legal and tax requirements.

Your choices

Email us to ask what we have about you, or to correct or delete it. We’ll handle the request unless we’re required to keep a record.

Kids

This site is for adults 18 and older. We don’t knowingly collect information from children.
